SELECTED WORK

I have never identified as a potter, but making plates has allowed me to explore pattern and color in my work in a new way. Functional ceramics also offer a different kind of accessibility for audiences compared to my sculptures. I am challenging myself this year to connect with clay and my local community differently. Plates are providing an avenue for me to engage with the Morgantown community at local artisan sales and share a piece of myself with them.
